Light Upon Light, in collaboration with Islamic Events Singapore, proudly presented the first ever Singapore seminar line-up for Shaykha Dr. Haifaa Younis.

Dr. Haifaa Younis is a distinguished Islamic scholar, educator, author, and public speaker, as well as a practicing American board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist. She is widely known for her work in Qur’anic education, spiritual purification (tazkiyah), and empowering Muslim women through knowledge and faith. Balancing her medical career and Islamic scholarship, she has become a respected voice in the global Muslim community.

Alhamdulilah with the help of Allah and key partners, Light Upon Light successfully organized Dr. Shaykha Haifaa Younis first live experience in Singapore with 2 line-up events, “The Essence of Tawheed” on July 18th 2025, attended by over 500 participants in Mesjid Sultan and “Tarbiyah of the Nations” on July 19th 2025, attended by over 700 participants in B1 Auditorium.

In “The Essence of Tawheed”, we learned that tawheed (the oneness of God) is not just a concept but a foundation of our faith. It means putting Allah at the center of everything. It means trusting Him fully, turning to Him first, and living with purpose. Shaykha unpacked what it means to live a God-centered life and transform our ways of life with the knowledge of tawheed.

In “Tarbiyah of the Nations”, we explored what it truly means to raise righteous families for a virtuous society, by reviving the prophetic model of tarbiyah that once built golden civilizations. From the power of spiritual nurturing to the urgency of moral resilience in today’s world, Syaikha reminded us that the key to healing this Ummah starts at home, with hearts connected to Allah, values rooted in Quran, and actions guided by prophetic wisdom.
